March Art Journal Challenge and Alice (again)

So I'm following the March Art Journal Challenge here. I'm enjoying it, although I have trouble with the idea of unfinished pages. Some of these pages are frankly ugly, due to either lack of time or no clear inspiration or some combo of the two. But nonetheless, it is a good practice to try to do one every day.I was going to try to update here with pics daily, but that has so not happened. Perhaps I'll try for once a week, bearing in mind that for both sides of the spread to be done, it needs to be an even number of days. So here's the first 8 days.

3/1- Start your engines; 3/2- Credit cards

3/3- Blue; 3/4- Doodle

3/5- Past; 3/6- Present

3/7- Future; 3/7- "Wanting to be someone else is a waste of who you are" - Kant
(the small illegible text in the heart says "we're all a little bit mad here")

And because I'm still feeling very Alice themed, a spread I finished today in my Watercolor paper Moleskine.

I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it....
"Be patient" is very good advice, but the waiting makes me curious.

PS Get the Almost Alice album. It's fucking awesome. I'm in love with Always Running Out of Time and pretty much everything else, except the painful Avril Lavigne song that was at the end of the movie. Which was quite good, by the way. And I want that HAT. (Plus he does a much mocked but truly epically fabulous hat dance on the framptious day. I can't remember the name of the dance though.)

these are terrific! That looks like a fun challenge. Too bad it's the middle of March already, or I'd start it. I wanted to do http://www.scriptfrenzy.org/
in the month of April, and write a graphic novel script. I don't think I'll be able to what with school and all, but maybe over the summer. Waddya think, if I handed you a script would you be interested in doing some art for it or otherwise collaborating?
